Where are you starting from?
I need to get the basics in place. Email, database hygiene, a few campaigns running properly.
I have a few channels set up but they need to be optimized. Things are running, just not well enough.
Most of our initiatives are live. I need advanced reporting, multitouch attribution, and dashboards that speak to our exec team.
When we send something for review, how fast does your team usually turn it around?
Honestly, it can sit for a week. We have a lot going on internally.
A couple of days. We are pretty good about staying on top of things.
Same day or next morning. We do not like things sitting in a queue.
Is there a finish line, or does the work keep going?
I have a clear list of things to get done. Once they are handled, I can take it from there.
Every month brings something new. I need a team I can keep coming back to.
What does your marketing team look like today?
It is mostly me. I am the marketing department, the sales ops person, and half of customer success.
A small team. We handle the day to day but we need specialists for the things we cannot do in house.
A full department. We have people, we just need deeper expertise in specific areas.
